Before arriving in Sydney in 2003, Seann studied at British International schools in Indonesia and Bangkok. Recently graduating from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) with a Bachelor of Arts (Music Theatre), Seann’s lead roles include Dromio of Syracuse in Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors, Otto in Spring Awakening, Papa Ge in Once on This Island, Bun Fu in Thoroughly Modern Millie and most recently The Balladeer in Sondheim’s Assassins. In 2010 he was also involved in the Sydney Fringe Festival playing Peter in the Australian premiere of Bare: the Pop Opera. In 2012, he appeared as a finalist in the Julie Michael Cabaret Competition and most recently took part in the workshop of a new Australian musical, Centenary, written by Steve Vizard and Paul Grabowsky. Seann is thrilled to be making his professional debut in Opera Australia’s The King and I.
